This application uses a Spot-type Laser Photoelectric Sensor.
The minute spot laser beam with maximum diameter of 1 mm accurately detects small-diameter pins.
Know-How
Conventional photoelectric sensors with a large spot diameter could not be used for small-diameter pins. The system had a limited detection distance, which could damage the Sensor.
Benefit / Efficiency
Stable inspection of ultra-thin guide pins is possible in a small spot at a sensing distance as long as 1 m.
